TERMS AND CONDITIONS Description of Goods We describe our products as accurately as we can. They have all been chosen for their suitability for the allergy market but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all our products are suitable for all customers since sensitivities are so individual. Please be sure to check all ingredients on the packet or bottle before opening as opened products cannot be returned. Postage Please remember to add £4.50 for p/p unless otherwise stated and an extra £2.50 for Next Working Day Delivery. Items sent via Special Delivery or Direct Delivery are charged separately. If there is more than one p/p charge, the highest will be added to your order. Please note that delivery charges to the the following postcodes including the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and anywhere off mainland Britain may be increased. This includes the following postcodes: FK17-99, G83, HS1-9, IV1-28, IV33-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW all, PA20-48, PA60-78, PH18-26, PH30-44, TR21-TR25, ZE1-3, BT all, IM all, JE all, GY all. We will notify you if your order incurs any increased charges. Because this cannot be automated at the checkout your order will be confirmed at the £4.50 rate and you will be notified of the real charge before your order is proccessed. Please note we do not deliver to America or Canada. Delivery Charges for Paint - please see the bottom of this page. Next Working Day Delivery If you need your order urgently you may upgrade it to Next Working Day Delivery by ticking the appropriate box at the check out. There is an additional charge of £2.50 for this upgrade. As long as your order is placed before noon on a normal working day and is not an item sent via Direct Delivery we will send it out the same day for delivery sometime the following working day. Please be aware that this does not include deliveries on Saturdays or Sundays or on any statutory holiday. Next Working Day Delivery orders placed over the week end will be despatched on the first working day of the week for delivery the following day. This does not include deliveries to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and anywhere off mainland Britain. Please note, somebody must be present to sign for the parcel. Delivery Most orders are despatched within a few days and many go out within 24 hours of ordering. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee the time of delivery and cannot accept responsibility for delays that are beyond our control. If you require goods to arrive at a specific time, please make sure you order well in advance. If you fail to collect your package or fail to arrange for it to be redelivered it will be returned to us and we will be charged for this return. Once we have received the uncollected package we will inform you, usually by email and ask you how you would like it resent. We will charge you for the original posting and the returns fees (typically £6.99 each way for one parcel). Our prices include postage from us to you one time only. We must be notified of receipt of damaged goods immediately as claims must be made promptly. Guarantee and Returns We want you to be delighted with your purchase but understand that sometimes you may need to return a product. You can order with complete confidence as we guarantee to refund or exchange any product that you are not completely happy with (goods that are made up to order are non-returnable unless faulty; this includes mattresses and paint). All we ask is that you return the product to us in its original unused condition, in its original undamaged packaging. It is your responsibility to take “reasonable care” of the goods. Please note that goods that are made or mixed up to order are non returnable unless for faulty workmanship. Returns within 14 days Items may be returned within 14 days of receipt of order. The cost of the goods but not the postage will be refunded. We reserve the right to charge a restocking charge and to charge for any goods not returned in saleable condition or exceeding the 14 day period. Please notify us before returning goods and use the returns form enclosed with your order. Please notify us immediately of faulty or damaged goods to discuss method of return otherwise we regret we are unable to accept responsibility for return charges. If a product fails after 14 days, we will need the product returned to us for inspection prior to a replacement being sent. Returns within 7 days Within 7 days of receipt of your order you have the right to notify us in writing and return the whole order in its original undamaged packaging (goods that are made up to order are non-returnable unless faulty; this includes mattresses and paint). We will refund the full purchase price and postage. It is your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the goods and to insure them for their value in case they should go astray or be damaged in transit. This does not affect your statutory rights. Delivery Charges for Paint All paint is mixed up to order. If you are ordering a large amount of paint, we suggest you order cautiously as paint may not be returned. The delivery charge on paint and all Ecos products is £9.40 for 1-15 litres, £18.80 for 16-30 litres and £28.20 for 31-45 litres. Please note that the delivery charge for paint will not show up on your shopping total, but will be calculated for you in the office based on the above. Please allow 3-4 working days for delivery although most orders will arrive in 24-48 hours. Please phone for delivery charges to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or anywhere off the mainland.
