Our new single and double plastic drinking water systems offer an even more affordable way to have clean water on tap with a system that has had full scientific testing.
Clean drinking water which is free from contaminants is extremely important for our health. The plastic units are complete undersink water filtration systems providing clean water for both drinking and cooking. The Ultracarb filter (see Further information) removes chlorine, chemicals, bacteria, particles and heavy metals. It does not remove the beneficial trace elements or the calcium that are natural elements in the water and beneficial for strong bones and teeth.
The filter candle should be replaced every 6 months for 4 people and 9 months for 1 to 2 people. Both units come with a housing (S stainless steel or P plastic), an UltracarbTM filter candle, a chrome tap, full fitting kit, instructions and guarantee. Can be installed DIY or by your plumber. The THH1P plastic unit is an economical alternative that is made of hard durable plastic. Filter housing measures 30x15x7.5cm. The THH1P offers one housing with a fully tested UltracarbTM filter (testing by NSF, WRAS and WRC). For areas where there are high levels of sediment or added fluoride, the THH2P offers two housings, one for either a pre filter for sediment or a fluoride removal cartridge, the other for an UltracarbTM filter.
For areas of extra sediment or low water pressure - THH2PS
If you have low water pressure the addition of the pre-filter will help to reduce the loss of pressure as the water goes through the ceramic filter candle. The THH2PS has a standard Ultracarb ceramic filter candle with a 5 micron pre-filter. This pre-filter will remove the particles and sediment from your water prior to it reaching the ceramic filter candle thus prolonging its useful life. Measures 33x28x10cm.
For Fluoride removal - THH2PF
Some water companies are now adding fluoride to the water supply. It can be harmful to bone strength and density and increases the absorption of heavy metals such as lead from the water pipes. The THH2PF has a standard Ultracarb ceramic filter candle (see further information) with a fluoride filter candle in the first housing to remove fluoride. Measures 33x28x10cm.
